What is the difference between a Primary, Residuary and Contingent Beneficiary?

The people you name as “Primary Beneficiaries” (also known as “Residuary Beneficiaries”) will inherit all of your assets minus your Specific Gifts.

If you would like your children to receive an equal share of your assets and would like those shares to pass onto their children (in the event they predecease you), select “Kids Equally” when completing our intake questionnaire.

The Contingent Beneficiaries will inherit your assets if all of your Primary Beneficiaries predecease you.
